The CDC reports that in 2021 approximately 37 million people in the United States are living with some stage of kidney disease. That's about 15% of the population, or 1 of of every 7 people. As we get older kidney disease becomes more prevalent. In fact, kidney disease of some level is present in up to 38% of the population age 65 and older.

Unfortunately, one of the serious complications from kidney disease is losing strength, mobility, flexibility, and ability to perform normal daily activities. Not to mention our abilities to participate in the other activities we like to do such as walking, hiking, or playing golf or tennis. Renal rehab is here to help with reversing that loss of activity and physical abilities that comes from both having kidney disease and from being treated with dialysis.
